One of the forces behind its early success and evolution, Queen Anastasia has been called “the Godmother of MicroCon” for good reason.

Taking the reins of Ruritania after the passing of her husband, the Queen has served for more than a decade with strength, grace, and indomitable will. Despite not being the most well-known or prominent micronationalist, her service has led her to be counted amongst those at the heart of the movement, especially within the community’s Facebook sphere.

A fixture at the event, Queen Anastasia hosted the second iteration of MicroCon in 2017, which was an integral step forward towards its current form.
